Smiggins

Smiggin Holes is accessed by road from Jindabyne or via the Skitube to Perisher and get the free shuttle bus or ski to Smiggin Holes. There is a day car park at Smiggin Holes and food and drinks are available at the Smiggin’s Hotel complex and some commercial lodges. There is no shelter building on the trails which can be exposed in windy conditions. On such days look for sheltered areas close to Smiggins. The 2km and 4km marked trails are accessed by following the link road to Guthega, at the end of the carpark, for about 500m. Since the installation  of snow fences there is good snow cover for the trails to be groomed and provide easy, undulating skiing with some good views to the north and east where the trail skirts the edge of the ridge.
